About the position:
We're looking for a detail-oriented People Ops & Systems Specialist to join our growing team in this newly created role. With our HRIS freshly rolled out, you'll have the exciting opportunity to truly make it your own—optimising systems, refining workflows, and embedding it into the way we work.
You'll also play a key role in managing the employee lifecycle, payroll data integrity, and supporting process documentation across the People team. As we expand into new global locations, you'll have to opportunity to gain exposure to international employment legislation and help us scale our systems to support a global workforce.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Be the superuser for our new HRIS Rippling, ensuring data accuracy and improving workflows
- Administer the employee lifecycle, covering onboarding, off-boarding, and internal movements, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Interpret and apply awards, employment legislation, company policies, and procedures to ensure HR compliance locally and globally.
- Support global payroll processing by ensuring accurate and timely updates to employee data, timesheets, and employment changes across multiple regions.
- Develop and distribute regular HR metrics reports, such as WGEA reporting and responding to ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Engage and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders to support business needs.
What are we seeking?
- Experience as a super administrator for an HRIS (e.g., Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, Employment Hero, or similar).
- Proven experience in HR systems, operations, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, best practices, with the ability to understand and interpret awards and employment legislation.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in HR documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in payroll-related administrative tasks and HR data management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
