About the position:
This new role as our Software Development Manager will be leading our internal software development team, supporting delivery of high-quality technical solutions. This role has a focus on people leadership, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the software development team to deliver scalable, high-quality technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Oversee team workflow, ensuring developers are focused, resourced, and delivering to standard and on time.
- Support project scoping, task assignment, and progress tracking across active software development projects.
- Ensure clear team processes for version control, QA/testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Translate business problems into technical requirements and work with the team to design and implement them.
- Provide technical coaching and professional development support to developers, including performance check-ins.
What are we seeking?
- Demonstrated experience in software development, with a strong grasp of modern programming practices and tools.
- Strong proven experience leading or managing a development team.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver outcomes to agreed timelines.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
