About the position:
We're excited to bring on a Head of Production and Operations to support our team of over 30 staff! This is a perfect role for an experienced people first leader who is passionate about process improvements and scalability.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a robust production and operations strategy that aligns with business goals and the direction set by the General Manager.
- Oversee the workflow and output of the workshop and jeweller teams, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee end-to-end quality control processes, working closely relevant stakeholders to identify and address issues.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery expectations, quality standards, and production timelines are consistently met.
- Optimise stock allocation and inventory coordination to meet showroom and retail sales targets.
- Lead and implement scalable processes that reduce inefficiencies, improve resource use, and prepare the business for future growth.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic projects to improve alignment between production, client solutions, and showroom operations.
- Participate in performance reporting, reviews, and forecasting in alignment with broader business planning.
What are we seeking?
- Proven experience managing large teams ideally within the retail space
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to optimise workflows, implementing scalable processes, and ensuring quality standards.
- Experience managing the supply chain and international shipping
- Exceptional process improvement experience, with a focus on reducing inefficiencies and enhancing workflows.
