About the position:

This new role of Merchandise Assistant will be supporting our Merchandise Planner in stocking each showroom with the right product assortment, aligned with demand and client preferences. Collaboratively with the production team, this role balances inventory management with product availability, ensuring that the right products reach our clients in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support the processes for inventory for our showrooms 
  • Assist in management of stock for all showrooms, including preparing for new showroom launches, ensuring locations are equipped with curated jewellery selections.
  • Assist with diamond ordering and quality control checks on incoming inventory, ensuring each item meets Cullen Jewellery’s standards
  • Support implementation of visual merchandising (VM) displays across showrooms
  • Support the Merchandise Planner with listing of new products on the website confirming accurate pricing, descriptions, and imagery.

What are we seeking?

  • Experience in retail stocktake or administrative position
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage diverse responsibilities. 
  • Project management skills to support the coordination of stocktake processes, showroom launches, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced and growing retail environment.
  • Excellent communications skills to support productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • The right to work in Australia.
