Brand Designer

About Curate Group

Curate Group is a dynamic events and experiences company, creating unforgettable moments that bring people together. We specialise in unique, high-quality live events - from large scale festivals, immersive concerts, cultural experiences and corporate events partnering with some of the world’s most exciting brands.

One of our core event brands, Lumos Experiences, is one of the most distinctive live entertainment concepts, creating atmospheric candlelit musical concerts that transform unexpected spaces into something genuinely magical. We're growing fast, running multiple shows per week across new cities and countries and we're looking to invest in a highly creative Brand Designer to help us build on and elevate the Lumos brand across our programmes.

About the role

Role: Brand Designer

Reports to: Head of Brand & Marketing

Contract: Full Time

Location: Remote (can also consider hybrid in our London office)

The Brand Designer is Lumos’ dedicated in-house designer, with real ownership of the brand’s visual identity. We already have a simple set of brand guidelines and a recognisable look and feel, but we want someone who enjoys taking that further and helping shape how the brand develops as we grow.

You will work closely with the wider marketing team, who currently create a lot of assets themselves, helping raise the standard, build better systems and give everything a more consistent Lumos look and feel.

This role balances brand thinking with the reality of a fast-moving marketing team. Sometimes that means developing the look of a major campaign, and sometimes it means creating a smart Canva template that helps the rest of the team move quickly.

Reporting into the Head of Brand & Marketing, you will join a collaborative, social-first team that’s easy to work with and keen to get good work out into the world quickly.

What you'll do

  • Brand Identity: Evolve the Lumos visual identity, building on our existing brand guidelines and shaping how the brand develops as we grow.
  • Print & Venue Collateral: Design print materials to a high standard, including show programmes, posters, flyers, banners and venue collateral.
  • Templates & Systems: Create the key design work while building strong, easy-to-use Canva templates and systems that allow the wider team to produce everyday assets consistently.
  • Polished Creative: Produce more polished creative in tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator where needed.
  • Multi-Channel Design: Design across social, paid ads, company decks, briefs and other marketing materials.
  • Motion & Animation: Animate typography and create simple motion graphics for social and YouTube content.
  • Campaigns & Key Moments: Work on campaign creative, seasonal moments, launches and special events.
  • Venue-Led Design: Design for the wide range of venues and experiences we work with, from intimate local churches to heritage locations and beyond.
  • Design Guidance & Quality Control: Provide design guidance and quality control across the team, without needing to personally make every single asset.
  • Creative at Scale: Work closely with the marketing team to make sure we can produce high volumes of creative without compromising the brand.
  • Production Efficiency: Find smart ways to handle repetitive production work, using templates, automation and AI where useful for things like changing dates, locations or versions of existing designs (not for generating the creative itself).

What we're looking for

  • A strong eye for brand and design, and a real enjoyment of helping shape how a brand looks and feels.
  • Proven experience designing for social, digital and print.
  • Comfortable working at pace and managing several briefs at once.
  • Confident making creative decisions, without overcomplicating things.
  • Just as happy creating a polished campaign asset from scratch as building a Canva template the wider team can use.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus the ability to animate typography and create simple motion graphics.
  • Excited to work in live events.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary with flexibility based on your experience and skills
  • Access to our discretionary annual bonus based on performance
  • 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Discretionary additional days off at Christmas
  • An extra day of annual leave gifted for each year of service (up to an additional 3 days)
  • Your Birthday off
  • Pension
  • Maternity and paternity leave policy
  • Significant opportunities for personal growth and career progression as the business scales
  • Tickets for friends and family to our Lumos shows
