Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time ITSM ITAM Consultant to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our clients' ITSM and ITAM processes, ensuring they leverage best practices to manage their IT services and assets effectively. This position requires availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their ITSM and ITAM needs, assess their current processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Solution Design: Develop and implement ITSM and ITAM solutions tailored to client requirements, including process design, tool configuration, and integration.
  • Implementation: Oversee the deployment of ITSM and ITAM solutions, ensuring smooth implementation and integration with existing systems.
  • Training & Support: Provide training to client teams on ITSM and ITAM best practices and tool usage, and offer ongoing support to resolve issues and optimize performance.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance ITSM and ITAM processes to ensure they align with industry best practices and meet client needs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and system configurations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest ITSM and ITAM trends, tools, and best practices to provide innovative solutions and insights.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an ITSM and ITAM consultant or in a similar role, with a track record of successful ITSM and ITAM implementations.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ITSM and ITAM frameworks, including ITIL, and familiarity with relevant tools and technologies.
  • Consulting Skills: Ability to analyze client needs, design effective solutions, and deliver impactful results.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Availability: Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone and available to work part-time, aligning with ET business hours.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
