About the role


As the Director, Product Marketing, you will develop the product strategy, bringing an outside-in perspective to help inform product development and product positioning based on customer feedback and industry/market insights. You bring both a solid technical understanding as well as a business mindset, with an ability to translate product features into tangible customer benefits to ultimately build the pipeline.


What you'll do

  • Develop product and solution messaging and positioning, leveraging a deep understanding of customers, decision-makers, and purchasing dynamics 
  • Build and share thought-provoking content at events, conferences, webinars, and sales meetings 
  • Thoroughly understand market segments, their needs, buyer personas and their journeys 
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to define and develop compelling messaging, effective value propositions, use cases, and overall content targeting customers, decision-makers, and other audiences such as industry analysts, reporters and partners 
  • Work with the public relations team on key announcements and press releases 
  • Drive analyst relations, developing meaningful relationships with key industry professionals, managing proactive and reactive engagements with analysts, staying on top of published research and sharing relevant reports with the product, sales, and marketing teams, and strategically influencing industry analyst coverage of the category and the company 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and go-to-market strategies in target markets and target audiences 
  • Help plan and drive product launches with the extended GTM ecosystem. 
  • Work closely with the product management team to understand and influence the development of our quantum computing solutions 
  • Support partner enablement and co-marketing programs related to new solutions in with sales teams 


About You

  • A proven product marketer with 10+ years of product marketing experience  
  • Exceptional ability to stay on top of market and industry trends, customer challenges, etc. to proactively surface product development ideas and translate those into influential messaging and content for prospects  
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer behavior sciences and marketing strategies 
  • Exceptional at interacting with senior management and peers, serving as their go-to thought partner 
  • Analytical with a creative mind, able to juggle many projects, and manage cross functional teams 
  • Driven, with initiative and self-discipline to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion 
  • Natural problem solver 
  • Experienced working directly with senior leadership, product teams, partners, sales, marketing teams and industry analysts in a consultative manner

During the interview process, your Recruiter will explain how our total rewards work (base, equity, bonus, perks, benefit, culture) offerings. The base salary for this role is targeted at $135-202k USD per year. The final offer is determined by your proficiencies within this level.
