About the Job

Dadosfera, a leader in Data & AI platform solutions, is seeking top Engineering talent to join our team. You will be part of an elite group working on Data & Analytics projects with some of the largest startups and corporations in the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects, ensuring high data quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines.
• Evolve cloud-based platforms and solutions using Cloud, DataOps, and Data Engineering best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical debt mitigation, and agile practices.
• Participate in internal training sessions and alignment activities at Dadosfera.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent certification
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (e.g., Python, SQL)
• Strong proficiency in SQL development and Python programming
• Experience with Linux environments and AWS services (Redshift, RDS, EMR, Kinesis, Glue)
• Experience with data modeling and transformation using dbt
• Experience with modern data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
• Ability to process and transfer data via custom scripts (APIs, files)
• Knowledge of Big Data tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive)

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView)
• Strong SQL performance optimization skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of multiple database technologies, including distributed processing, NoSQL, and MPP systems
• Experience working in tech startups, with a flexible and adaptable mindset
