The Role

This is a newly created position to support the company’s growth and scaling operations. We are looking for a detail oriented self-starter to support both accounting and financial operations. This role will handle key processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliations. You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day tasks with regular oversight and review as you grow into the role. This is a good fit for someone who values accuracy, accountability, and a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle.

 

What You'll Do

  • Manage customer invoicing as part of the quote-to-cash process
  • Handle vendor management and accounts payable as part of the procure-to-pay cycle
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure billing and vendor records are accurate
  • Prepare journal entries, maintain balance sheet schedules, and assist with monthly close
  • Support reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals
  • Assist with audit preparation, including documentation and account support schedules
  • Suggest improvements to accounting and operational workflows as we scale

 

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Effective communication and documentation skills

 

Not Required, But a Plus

  • Public accounting experience, CPA or CPA track
  • SaaS or start up environment experience
  • Experience with ERP transitions/software implementations
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Rippling, Maxio, and Ramp

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Remote)
