Hours: Approximately 40 hours/week


Job Summary:


We’re looking for a Tax & Accounting Admin to join our team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional financial setting. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning the ins and outs of tax and accounting while developing skills that can propel your career forward.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Complete entry level tax and accounting tasks timely and accurately.
  • Escalate issues to team lead as needed for resolution.
  • Communicate with clients through various methods to answer questions and collect information.
  • Develop understanding of all software necessary to perform job duties.
  • Perform tasks related to intake of documents.
  • Document client interactions and any follow up actions required for tax preparers.
  • Assist with client accounting and tax preparation.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn/utilize several industry specific software required to perform job responsibilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.


Education, Experience, and Licensing:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in tax administration work or equivalent preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position is an in-office position.

As a full-time team member of the firm, you will be eligible to participate in several firm sponsored benefits. In addition, you will be entitled to accrue paid time off - starting at 120 hours each calendar year.


We also close our office for 7 holidays, and have a floating holiday available for use as well.
