Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT

 

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Compensation:  $28 - $32/hr


Schedule/Availability: 32-40 hours per week, open availability. Schedule will typically be Mon-Fri 7am-5pm.

What We're Looking For:

22 Plastic Surgery is seeking a polished, highly skilled Surgical Technician to join our premier aesthetic surgery team. This role is integral to delivering an elevated surgical experience that reflects our commitment to precision, safety, and exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate brings not only strong technical expertise, but also a refined sense of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail with an understanding that every element of the patient experience, from the operating room to recovery, should feel seamless, calm, and elevated.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a pristine, sterile surgical environment for all procedures.
  • Anticipate surgeon needs with efficiency and precision, ensuring seamless intraoperative flow.
  • Set up operating rooms with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all instruments and supplies meet the highest standards.
  • Assist in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including facial, breast, and body surgeries.
  • Perform accurate surgical counts and uphold strict safety protocols at all times.
  • Handle surgical instruments with care, ensuring proper sterilization and organization.
  • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping with a focus on both safety and dignity.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control, AAAASF standards, and practice protocols.
  • Monitor and manage surgical inventory to ensure readiness without disruption to workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to deliver a cohesive, high-touch experience


Requirements: 

Licensure & Certifications: 

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Current CST certification preferred.

Experience: 

  • 2+ years of surgical experience required; plastic or cosmetic surgery experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique.
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
  • High level of discretion and respect for patient privacy.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • A natural sense of urgency balanced with composure.
  • Aesthetic awareness and appreciation for detail-driven environments.
  • A team-first mindset with a commitment to delivering a luxury-level experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely handle needles, sharps, and medical supplies 
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift standard medical aesthetic equipment and inventory 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy equipment and supplies
