The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for assistance with all the IT systems and services that support Albers Aerospace. This position will serve as first echelon of support with technical problems and tracking assets.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responds to user questions and inquiries via telephone, email, web and other communication regarding desktop support issues. Escalate issues to higher echelon of support as necessary.
- Conduct IT onboarding of new employees (remote and local) via account creation, and system / security training.
- Maintain & deploy all desktop (e.g. Windows, Office) licensing, installation, and initial configuration.
- Assist in maintaining the corporate network, administrate Office 365 tenancy, and associated systems, including internet access and email (including spam / phishing filters).
- Assist in tracking IT resources to meet company short and long-term needs.
- Assist executing mechanisms for detecting, reporting, and investigating any cyber-attacks / penetrations and provide leadership with impact report, status, and mitigations.
- Assist with the integration of IT services during corporate acquisitions and mergers.
- Assist with end device compliance (software updates, baseline compliance).
- Assist with IT Development as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Excellent communications and analytical skills required.
- Must be comfortable interfacing with different stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Fully capable of preparing computers for organizational use.
- Familiar with Microsoft Enterprise (Desktop & Server) Platform technologies, including Active Directory.
- Familiar with Network Management technologies, including Wi-Fi, and Firewalls.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of current technology and learn new technologies.
- Information Technology career field motivated.
- Must be a U.S citizen. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification(s) or bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in the IT field or related area.
- Familiarity with Azure AD, & Intune is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- While primarily an office job may require time at a manufacturing facility or other location.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
- CONUS travel may be required from time to time.
