the job:

the Trade Marketing + Events Intern will support the events & trade shows team by driving operational excellence across event and tradeshow execution. this role will own a key project focused on building and improving the team’s event operations playbook, helping standardize processes across vendor management, logistics, and execution.


this internship offers hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of event marketing within the beauty industry, with exposure to cross-functional teams including brand, sales, creative, and operations. the intern will gain practical experience in project ownership, vendor coordination, and large-scale event execution, while contributing meaningful, scalable improvements to the organization.


location: brooklyn, ny (onsite 3 days a week. must have the right to live and work in the US)
hourly rate: $17 per hour
hours: 40 hours per week
duration: 6 months

start date: May, 26th 2026


what you'll do:

  • lead the development and implementation of an Event Operations Playbook to improve consistency and scalability across activations
  • evaluate current workflows across vendor management, logistics, and event execution to identify inefficiencies
  • build and standardize tools such as RFP templates, vendor comparison frameworks, and logistics trackers
  • support vendor sourcing efforts, including participation in RFP processes and evaluation
  • coordinate timelines, logistics, and cross-functional communication to ensure seamless event execution
  • track budgets, shipments, and travel arrangements for events and tradeshows
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders across Brand, Sales, Creative, Supply Chain, and external partners
  • contribute to the successful execution of events or specific activation components
  • provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies


must haves:

  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously
  • clear written and verbal communication skills
  • proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of projects
  • comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (basic tracking and organization; formulas a plus)
  • comfort using PowerPoint or Google Slides for presentations
  • experience with Asana and Slack is a plus
  • ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
