Summary:

The Product Strategy Manager leads the evaluation and recommendation of strategic investments, growth opportunities, and market expansion initiatives that shape Bamboo Health's multi-year business strategy. You’ll build a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, our customers and buyers, and the markets in which we compete, using those insights to help shape our strategy and multi-year roadmap.

In this role, you’ll evaluate strategic opportunities through market and competitive analysis, financial modeling, and business case development, translating complex information into clear recommendations for decision makers. You’ll also help inform solution packaging, pricing, and go-to-market planning and support the evaluation and prioritization of roadmap investments.

Reporting to the VP of Product Strategy, this is a highly visible, cross-functional role with regular collaboration across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, External Affairs, and Engineering. You should be comfortable working through ambiguity, getting up to speed quickly on complex topics, and moving seamlessly between building the analysis and communicating the recommendation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and AI-driven changes in healthcare to identify areas for growth and investment.
  • Size market opportunities through TAM/SAM/SOM analysis and develop business cases that bring together market potential, customer value, competitive differentiation, financial impact, and risk.
  • Build financial models and projections to evaluate the bookings, profitability, and overall value of potential investments.
  • Evaluate strategic, customer-specific, and ongoing product investments to help inform roadmap priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Develop insights and recommendations related to solution packaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Partner across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, External Affairs, and Engineering to gather perspectives, pressure-test assumptions, and build alignment around recommendations.
  • Turn complex analyses into clear, executive-ready recommendations and materials for leadership discussions, operating meetings, board communications, and customer advisory boards.
  • Stay close to the market and competitive landscape, bringing relevant insights and implications into strategic planning and decision making.
  • Lead strategic analyses from initial question through recommendation, bringing structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous business problems.
  • Stay curious about emerging AI tools and how they can streamline or enhance work within your function.
