POSITION SUMMARY
The Site Director provides senior on-site leadership for the Tamarac Family Non-Congregate Shelter located at 7525 East Hampden Avenue. This position is responsible for full shelter operations and programming in alignment with HOST Program Standards, Bayaud Works policies, and contract requirements. The role oversees safe, hygienic, accessible, equitable, inclusive, hospitable, low-barrier, Housing First operations; housing-focused case management; HMIS, OneHome, Capacity Tracker, and HOST reporting; facilities coordination; food service coordination; security and safety planning; community relations; staffing; fiscal stewardship; and contract monitoring readiness.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises assigned site-level managers, supervisors, and operational leads. Responsibilities include management coverage, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, schedule oversight, workforce planning, and accountability across shelter departments while maintaining compliance with Bayaud Works policies, HOST Program Standards, confidentiality expectations, safety requirements, and trauma-informed service practices.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The schedule may vary and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, emergency response, on-call availability, staffing coverage changes, or other adjustments based on 24/7 shelter operations and contract needs.
ALTERNATIVE WORK PLAN
This position is generally not eligible for an Alternative Work Plan due to the on-site nature of shelter operations, supervision, resident services, safety, and program needs. Duties must be performed on-site at assigned shelter locations, Bayaud Works offices, or other work sites as needed. Temporary remote work for special projects or limited administrative duties may be considered on a case-by-case basis with supervisor approval and based on operational needs. This section does not limit Bayaud Works’ obligation to consider reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law.
