Nursing Department Teaching Assistant

About the role:

  • Assist nursing faculty team leads and team members.
  • Grade student assignments and provide constructive feedback in conjunction with assigned faculty member.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Start date: 8/17/2026
  • End date: 5/21/2026


Qualifications:

  • Nursing major
  • Dependable
  • Detail oriented
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Self-directed – able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work the hours scheduled
  • Handle confidential information appropriately
  • Competence working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Moodle


Work Environment:

Predominantly virtual/remote or the Nursing Department


Physical Demands: None


Expected Hours of Work: 1.5 hours/week
