We are looking for service technicians with experience working on boilers, residential AC, mini splits, and commercial systems. Truck, tools, uniform, and tablet w/ Service Titan provided.

Position Summary

Job Summary: Big Horn Heating & Cooling is seeking a Shop Helper to assist with sheet metal fabrication and field operations. This position involves a range of tasks to support our New Construction Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Shop Manager with fabricating ductwork
  • Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to jobs
  • Assist with New Construction jobs as needed
  • Maintain facilities and equipment at the multiple facilities

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Honesty, integrity, and dependability. 
  • A professional demeanor. 
  • Emphasis on safe working practices
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. 
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check. 

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds or more
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or scaffolding
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

Work Environment

  • Residential and commercial job sites
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment, dust, noise, and temperature extremes
  • Field-based work with daily travel between job sites

Schedule

  • Typically Monday through Friday
  • Overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call work may be required

Travel Requirements

  • Local travel within the assigned service area

Performance Expectations

  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and codes
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and first-time install success rate
  • Lead installation teams effectively and safely
    Complete accurate and timely project documentation
