Bookmans Entertainment Exchange has been serving Arizona communities for nearly 50 years. Originally a used bookstore, Bookmans has expanded to include various forms of media such as books, video games, music and movies as well as musical instruments, housewares, and collectibles. We buy, sell, and trade with our customers to acquire the majority of our inventory, proudly following a sustainable business model that keeps items out of landfills and gives them new life. Additionally, Bookmans speaks out against censorship and promotes freedom of expression at every turn.

Job Responsibilities:

To apply customer service knowledge to assisting customers with their purchases and questions,

continuously incorporating positive customer-focused strategies. Handle cash, card, and trade

transactions in an accurate and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Customer Service requires patience, kindness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities and customer needs.
• Professional telephone skills
• Able to efficiently and accurately complete sales transactions.
• Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise in a retail work environment while working with the public.
• Cash Handling and POS knowledge.
• Must maintain a clean, orderly counter area free of clutter, in front, on top, and behind.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule, including early mornings, evenings, midshifts, and weekends
• Must be able to conduct oneself in a civil, professional, and respectful manner at work.

This is a part-time position (less than 30 hours per week).

Seasonal Retail Staff positions are Part-Time and of limited duration (November 8, 2026 – January 9, 2027)
