What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Developer to lead the design and delivery of scalable web and mobile applications. In this role, you will own end-to-end feature development, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, performant solutions aligned with business goals. You will play a key role in shaping engineering standards, improving development processes, and ensuring technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex user interfaces using React Native
•  Architect scalable, maintainable front-end solutions and contribute to system design decisions
• Drive best practices in coding standards, performance optimization, and secure development
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers through code reviews and coaching
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver solutions
•   Own integration with backend systems using REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
• Champion automated testing strategies and CI/CD implementation
• Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Contribute to documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in web or mobile application development
• Extensive hands-on experience with React Native
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
• Experience building and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
• Strong mobile platform knowledge (iOS and Android)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or React Testing Library
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design
• Experience scaling applications for high performance and reliability
• Prior experience leading teams or owning technical initiatives
