As a Product Designer in Connect, you’ll help design and iterate on high-impact experiences for some of our most important and visible features like Home, Profile, Notifications, Widgets, Friends, Messages, Sharing, and more. You'll work with Product, Engineering, and other Product Designers to craft polished and engaging experiences across web, iOS, and Android for millions of players across the world.
You’re a curious, craft-focused Product Designer who enjoys turning product problems into polished, intuitive interfaces. You’re interested in how people connect and designing fun and healthy ways for them to build relationships.
You ask thoughtful questions, welcome feedback, and are comfortable collaborating from early problem definition through implementation. You care about the details, communicate clearly, and work proactively in a highly visible, globally distributed environment.
● A love for chess and knowledge of Chess.com and its product experience.
● Experience designing social features for mobile games or consumer products.
● Motion design experience, with strong product and UI design craft as the foundation.
● Design engineering or frontend development experience on web, iOS, or Android.
● This is a full-time position.
● We are 100% remote (work from anywhere!).
● This position is open to applicants globally and requires at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. working hours.
