Position Overview

Central Nevada Gold is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day field activities at the Mule Canyon Mine in Nevada. The Site Supervisor will coordinate employees, contractors, equipment, and daily work activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and effective site execution. The role will work closely with mine site leadership to support care and maintenance activities and prepare the site for the transition back into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mine site activities, employees, contractors, and equipment.
• Plan and assign daily work activities based on site priorities.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with site procedures and applicable regulations.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, field inspections, and workplace observations.
• Coordinate equipment utilization, maintenance needs, and site logistics.
• Oversee road maintenance, earthworks, infrastructure, and general site maintenance activities.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, and contractor performance.
• Identify and communicate safety, operational, equipment, and scheduling issues to site leadership.
• Maintain appropriate daily records and activity reports.
• Support emergency response and other site requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mining, heavy civil construction, or a similar industrial environment.
• Previous supervisory or frontline leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and mine site activities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and effective field leadership.
• Ability to coordinate employees, contractors, equipment, and competing priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of MSHA requirements preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable site requirements.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to senior leadership and works cross-functionally with geology, engineering, operations, and corporate teams.
