To support helicopter operations by facilitating the safe loading and transportation of contractor equipment and by providing operational support to domestic and international field operations. This role supports active helicopter operations both overseas and within the United States, assisting crews, customers, and project teams to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated job execution.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Plan, rig and secure loads for helicopter transport; coordinate operations with Rig Superintendent and Client Representative.
  • Assemble equipment and materials for transport.
  • Maintain radio communication with pilots; act as liaison between the client and CHI; advise pilots of any known hazards.
  • Inspect rigging and equipment used to lift and secure loads.
  • Maintain log entries of materials shipped and received.
  • Supervise a rigging/hooking crew during rig move operations.
  • Support domestic and international helicopter operations by assisting with operational coordination, job execution, and field support activities as assigned.
  • When working overseas, support field operations by assisting crews and customers, acting as an on-site company representative, and providing general operational support to ensure mission readiness and effective coordination.
  • When working in the United States, assist in supporting and coordinating logging operations or other domestic field projects, working alongside operational teams as needed.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate via radio with pilots
  • Good basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages)
  • Ability and willingness to learn and speak a native language
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Training in first aid procedures required
  • Knowledge of large cargo helicopters, basic rigging and loading principles preferred
  • Ability to live and work in primitive areas and foreign countries
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
  • Must pass and maintain client required medical, Visa’s, etc. that is required to perform he job overseas.
