About your new role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Security pillar of that platform and lead our high-growth MDR, NDR, and XDR offerings. You will position Command|Link as the leading network-aware SOC-as-a-Service provider for global enterprises, converging Network and Security operations (NOC and SOC) so that security is a first-class part of the stack rather than a bolt-on product, leveraging network and SASE context that point-solution competitors simply do not have.

This is an ownership-first, commercially accountable role. You will define the roadmap, manage technical requirements, and equip our dedicated analyst PODs to hit world-class detection and response times, while growing the portfolio through new bookings, expansion, and retention with revenue as a key success metric. We also want someone who builds: identifying market gaps and bringing net-new security products from concept to launch to a meaningful line of business. Operating with autonomy and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority, your decisions will shape the security posture of thousands of organizations and the next phase of Command|Link's global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Own the long-term vision and roadmap for the Command|Link MDR, NDR, and XDR service lines. Align security product goals with revenue targets, broader business objectives, the evolving threat landscape, and the direction of the wider Command|Link platform. Operate with ownership and accountability for measurable outcomes.
  • Revenue Growth: Help grow the security portfolio’s revenue (new bookings, expansion/upsell, and retention) by partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on pricing, packaging, and attach strategy across the platform. Build the business case for net-new security products and revenue streams.
  • Portfolio Integration: Ensure the security roadmap stays coherent with Command|Link’s connectivity, SD-WAN, and SASE/SSE (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS) offerings. Partner with the Network and SASE product owners so security capabilities, data models, and the customer-facing single pane of glass evolve together, turning the convergence of NOC and SOC into a defensible competitive advantage.
  • Roadmap Execution: Translate high-level strategy into detailed functional requirements and user stories. Collaborate closely with engineering, threat research, and data science teams to deliver scalable, AI-powered security solutions. Drive clarity in ambiguous situations and maintain execution velocity in a high-growth environment.
  • Platform and Telemetry Integration: Oversee the continuous integration of disparate telemetry sources (endpoints, firewalls, servers, SD-WAN flow data, and cloud workloads such as M365, AWS, Azure, and GCP) into our proprietary SIEM/XDR platform. Treat network context (NetFlow/IPFIX, SD-WAN, NOC signals) as a first-class security input. Confidently participate in architectural discussions on data modeling, API integrations, and cloud-native security, including how security functions interoperate with our technology partners (e.g., Fortinet, Cato, Versa, Meraki) at the SASE/SD-WAN edge.
  • Analyst Experience (AX): Partner with our SOC leadership to design and optimize the analyst workflow. Build features that reduce alert fatigue, automate repetitive triage tasks, and improve the human-in-the-loop decision-making process while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Define, track, and report on critical success metrics across two dimensions. Commercial: security revenue and ARR growth, net revenue retention, attach rate, expansion/upsell, and margin. Operational: Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), and False Positive rates. Use data-driven insights to inform roadmap prioritization and clearly communicate business impact to executive stakeholders.
  • Market and Competitive Research: Conduct ongoing analysis of the managed security market. Identify emerging trends in Attack Surface Management (ASM) and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), and translate findings into strategic product advantages, with particular attention to how converged network-and-security platforms differentiate against point-solution MDR vendors.
  • Go to Market (GTM) Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to define target personas, messaging, and product positioning. Champion the “one vendor for network and security” value proposition. Act as the primary technical advocate for our security services in customer-facing and executive-level discussions, simplifying complex capabilities into compelling value propositions.
  • Compliance and Security Assurance: Ensure that our security products and services meet or exceed industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and support our customers’ regulatory requirements.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization.

What You'll Need for Success

  • Domain Expertise: 7+ years of product management experience, specifically in cybersecurity. Deep knowledge of MDR, NDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, or SOC-as-a-Service models. Exposure to SASE/SSE and the convergence of network and security operations is a strong plus.
  • Technical Foundation: Strong technical acumen with the ability to participate in architectural discussions regarding data modeling, API integrations, and cloud-native security. Familiarity with Syslog, IPFIX, and NetFlow is essential, along with an understanding of how network telemetry enriches security detection.
  • New Product Launch Experience: A proven track record of taking net-new security products from concept (0-to-1) to launch and scale in fast-paced, high-growth environments, not solely refining or maintaining offerings already in market. You can point to products you stood up and grew, and the revenue they produced. Experience with Agile development methodologies and backlog management tools.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience contributing to revenue growth (bookings, expansion, and retention) and comfort partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on pricing, packaging, and go-to-market. Familiarity working toward a revenue target or business-line goal is a plus.
  • Certifications: CISM or CISSP certification will distinguish you from the candidate pool.
  • Operational Awareness: An understanding of the day-to-day challenges of SOC analysts and the importance of Analyst Experience (AX) in achieving high-fidelity security outcomes. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
