About the role

The Vice President of Product Management serves as the strategic bridge between company vision and customer value creation, ensuring every product investment drives measurable business outcomes. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for leading product strategy, focusing on scaling the platform and building a world-class product organization. The VP will balance long-term strategic bets with short-term performance targets, shifting the organization from just releasing things to releasing the right things in the right way to create a scalable, best practice solution.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Vision and Alignment: Partner with the executive team, internal stakeholders, customers, and lead market research to define and evolve the overall product roadmap, ensuring alignment between product vision and the company’s broader mission and financial objectives. Meet with key customers regularly to provide an update on the company’s product vision and decision making.
  • AI and Data Science Integration: Drive the productization of Artificial Intelligence models, focusing on delivering high-quality AI products that provide financial impact and delightful customer experiences. Mandate the use of AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Agile Innovation Pipelines: Improve decision velocity, while focusing on outlining best practice product requirements and leverage customer testing to ensure the correct features are built the correct way. Scope from MVP all the way to fully mature product and outline the steps, releases it takes to get there.
  • Growth Strategy (Product-Led Sales): Launch new products in a way to bring along the entire organization in a unified strategy. Utilize product usage data to identify Product-Qualified Leads (PQLs), allowing sales teams to prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Competitive Analysis: Understand what decisions, features, etc. are required to stay ahead of key market competitors as well as compete against new ones in new segments of the market.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Navigate the complex landscape of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), ensuring products adhere to international standards IS 13485, GDPR, and 27001. Accelerate regulatory readiness by embedding compliance artifacts and automated traceability directly into sprint deliverables.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a multi-product portfolio by balancing resource allocation across core optimization, adjacent growth opportunities, and transformational innovation bets.
  • Executive Influence: Communicate complex product strategies and outcomes to the CEO, Executive peers, and Board members using business language centered on revenue growth, risk mitigation, and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in Product Management or Strategy leadership, with at least 5 years managing high-performing teams and multi-product portfolios ($20M+ ARR) in healthcare SaaS industry.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the agile product lifecycle.
  • Healthcare Expertise: Familiarity with healthcare-specific regulations (HIPAA) and interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR. Healthcare PACS/Imaging experience is optimal.
  • Execution Rigor: Proven ability to use metric-driven frameworks (e.g., RICE scoring) to make high-stakes trade-offs between speed, quality, and technical debt with a demonstrated ability to produce cost/benefit analysis around development points and measure success post launch.
  • Leadership Presence: Strong mentorship skills for developing senior product leaders and a "rolling up your sleeves" mindset to set an example for the team.

Skills and Competencies

  • AI & Automation Fluency: Must have the ability to design and deploy AI-powered workflows that perform reliably, and the judgment to know when an AI solution is the wrong tool for a given problem.
  • AI Project/Agent Development: Must have experience developing and deploying AI projects and/or agents to streamline business operations.
  • Technical Rigor: Must be comfortable in Python, SQL, and API-based integrations. Low-code and no-code tools are valuable accelerators, not substitutes for engineering fundamentals.
  • Customer Empathy: Must build with the end user in mind.
  • Operational Ownership: Must take accountability for what gets built and how it performs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or alongside customer success or support teams in a B2B SaaS environment, with an understanding of the workflows this role will be automating.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and SOC 2, and their operational implications for systems that touch customer data.
  • Awareness of DICOM, HL7, or radiology workflow environments. You do not need to be a clinical expert, but knowing the vocabulary of our customers’ world is a real advantage.
  • Prior experience with Superblocks, Claude Code or similar development tooling for high-velocity production work.

Success Metrics

  • Development Efficiency: Reduction in average sprint cycle time and decision latency.
  • New Product Launches: Launch of new products in a way that has immediate bottom-line impact.
  • Product-Market Fit (PMF): Measured through a composite score of user adoption rates, feature validation success, and stakeholder acceptance.
  • Financial Impact: Achievement of targets related to Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and LTV/CAC ratios.
  • Compliance Health: Audit readiness scores and documentation completeness within development iterations.

We offer a competitive benefits package that supports your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, paid holidays, parental leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
