The Mission of the Manager, Supply Planning at Cozey

Reporting to Amir Hejazi, Director, Data Science & Forecasting, your mission is to make sure Cozey has the right inventory, in the right place, at the right time. You'll turn demand forecasts into supply plans that hold up under real-world constraints, balancing service levels, lead times, and working capital across production and distribution. You'll be the person leadership trusts to recommend what we buy, when, and why.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of supply and inventory planners, establish a strong weekly planning rhythm, and build the team's capabilities as Cozey scales.
  • Translate demand forecasts into purchasing requirements, production plans, and replenishment strategies across SKUs, suppliers, and distribution nodes, accounting for lead times, MOQs, and supplier constraints.
  • Own days of inventory on hand, balancing service levels, working capital, and cost through decisions on safety stock, order sizing, expedites, and allocation; monitor stockouts and excess or slow-moving inventory, and correct course as needed.
  • Continuously optimize planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and batch sizes, based on observed performance and variability.
  • Partner with Sourcing and Operations to monitor supplier lead times, capacity, reliability, and fill rates, providing the forecasts, order requirements, and planning insights needed to support supplier discussions and drive corrective action when performance falls short.
  • Prepare and present supply risks, constraints, and recommendations (expedites, reallocation, buys, production changes) to support S&OP decision-making.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Product, Operations, and Finance on product launches, lifecycle transitions, and discontinuations to ensure clean, in-stock execution.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to improve our in-house planning tools.

We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, operations, or supply chain analytics in retail, e-commerce, or CPG, including experience leading or mentoring others, and operating in complex environments with global sourcing and long lead times.
  • Strong supply planning fundamentals: replenishment logic, safety stock, lead times, MOQ constraints, and service level trade-offs.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel, a working knowledge of SQL, and comfort with planning systems and BI tools, paired with attention to detail: clean data, accurate parameters, and reliable execution with minimal downstream rework.
  • Experience using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve planning workflows, analyze large datasets, and accelerate decision-making.
  • An operational mindset, understanding how plans play out across sourcing, production, warehouses, and transportation.
  • Clear, structured communication that lays out the issue, impact, options, and recommendation, paired with a bias for action: spotting risks early and driving fixes before they hit service or inventory.

You'll Know You're Successful When

  • Inventory is healthy across your scope: strong in-stock performance, with excess and obsolescence under control.
  • Supply plans are reliable and realistic, aligned with operational constraints, with minimal last-minute firefighting.
  • Risks like capacity, delays, or shortages are caught early, and your recommendations turn into real action.
  • Supplier performance risks are visible and addressed proactively in partnership with Sourcing, including lead-time variability, fill-rate issues, and capacity constraints.
  • Planning parameters keep improving, and that shows up in better performance over time.
  • Your team is growing in capability, and leaders trust the supply plan enough to make purchasing and inventory decisions against it.

We Care About You

  • You will receive a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Real influence over how Cozey plans, buys, and grows its inventory, with decisions that directly shape the business.
  • Endless opportunities for personal and professional growth in a fast-growing, ambitious company.
  • A generous PTO policy that gives you the time you need to recharge.
  • A flexible, people-first workspace where you're surrounded by smart, kind, and humble colleagues.
