Project Coordinator

Digital Path Inc. is currently hiring for a Project Coordinator in Chico, CA for our Headquarters Office. 

Digital Path is the leading Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) providing internet service to rural communities and critical fire response networks throughout California. Our mission is to bring a faster, more reliable service for customers that are typically unserved or underserviced by cable companies.


As a Project Coordinator at Digital Path, you will assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires regular coordination with various stakeholders, including project managers, department managers, and vendors, to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion. You are expected to support field and planning operations by performing basic site surveys, job walks with client representatives and occasionally assisting with closeout packets alongside inspectors from various agencies. These tasks will be assigned at the discretion of management or a Tier 3 Coordinator, and only until you are deemed competent by your manager to perform them independently.


Additional information:

  • This position is full-time, on-site at our office in Chico, CA. 
  • A typical work week is 8 hours daily Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
  • Consistent adherence to a 40-hour work schedule is necessary.
  • Must be able to work in a group setting and independently.
  • Primarily office-based with some fieldwork required.
  • This role does not qualify for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
  • Occasional travel may be required to project sites.

Minimum Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Attend in-person and virtual meetings on a consistent basis.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting notes, and other communications.
  • Track project performance and goals.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Work with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Ensure clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Facilitate communication between internal team members, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged.

Administrative Support

  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Manage and monitor project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction and internet infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California driver’s license with no at-fault accidents, no more than 1 point, and no DUI/DWI.
  • Must pass post-offer-pre-employment screening that includes a non-arduous physical, background check, and drug test that includes THC (due to Federal contracts).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and use repetitive motions including writing and typing.
  • Occasional physical tasks may include stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distant, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Use of hands to hold, grip, carry, and physically interact with objects, tools, or controls. 
  • Ability to navigate various departments within the organization's facilities.

Tasks While Driving 

  • Occasional long-distance driving (potential accumulative of 8+ hours). 
  • Understanding and using GPS coordinates and KMZ files and/or other mapping/navigation software, must demonstrate the ability to navigate through rural areas and off-grid roads. 
  • Operation of 4x4 vehicles when necessary while adhering to company policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to traverse rough terrain to avoid damage to company equipment.
