Build a high-performing field organization that delivers safe, consistent residential battery storage installations and develops people who can lead at the next level. Dynamic EcoHome is looking for a field operations leader who combines strong operating judgment with the ability to coach, challenge, and grow field employees.

This role leads field operations across the market and makes workforce development a core operating responsibility. You will set standards for performance, coach field managers and crew leaders, identify future leaders, and build practical training paths tied to real job-site performance. You will work closely with market Field Operations Managers, Installation Operations, Safety, Recruiting, and senior leadership.

What You’ll Own

  • Field organization performance across safety, quality, productivity, installation consistency, and customer experience.
  • Development and performance of Field Operations Managers, crew leaders, supervisors, and high-potential employees.
  • A clear capability and leadership pipeline, including readiness standards and internal advancement paths.
  • Consistent field standards and development routines across markets.
  • Identification and reduction of recurring skill gaps, rework, safety incidents, and slow new-hire ramp-up.
  • A practical field coaching and train-the-trainer system with measurable results.

What You’ll Do

  • Set clear expectations for managers and leaders; review results and follow through on commitments.
  • Spend meaningful time in the field observing work, coaching leaders, and reinforcing technical and safety standards.
  • Develop managers who can run their markets, coach their teams, and address performance without waiting for escalation.
  • Create skills matrices, practical assessments, role-based training paths, and readiness criteria for field advancement.
  • Identify high-potential employees and build individual plans that lead to demonstrable growth and promotion readiness.
  • Partner with Recruiting and field managers to improve technical assessment, onboarding, and new-hire ramp-up.
  • Analyze safety, quality, productivity, rework, retention, and training results to target interventions and verify impact.
  • Lead direct, respectful performance conversations and support managers in consistently resolving performance gaps.
  • Gather input from crews and convert repeated field friction into stronger tools, processes, and training.
  • Partner with Installation Operations to align readiness and capability with expected demand and schedules.
  • Build a consistent coaching culture that increases skill, accountability, retention, and internal promotion.

What You Bring

  • A proven record leading and developing field teams in electrical contracting, residential energy, battery storage, backup power, generators, EV charging, HVAC, construction, or a related skilled-trades environment.
  • Experience leading managers, supervisors, or crew leaders, not only in delivering training sessions.
  • Measurable success in improving employee capability, field performance, safety, quality, productivity, retention, or internal promotions.
  • Experience coaching in the field, conducting skills assessments, and building practical development plans.
  • Ability to set standards, deliver direct feedback, and build trust without lowering expectations.
  • Strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to connect people development to business results.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the DFW market and to other company markets as needed.
  • Familiarity with battery storage is valuable; direct solar experience is not required.

First Year Outcomes

  • Field managers and crew leaders demonstrate stronger independent ownership and coaching.
  • Improved new-hire proficiency and time to readiness.
  • Fewer repeat quality issues and recurring skill-related rework.
  • A visible internal bench of employees is prepared to take on greater responsibility.
  • Improved retention and more internal advancement from the field organization.
  • Consistent field execution across markets with clear operating and development standards.
