Ediphi offers the most comprehensive cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solution on the market. Our goal is to shorten the time spent in preconstruction, allowing projects to break ground faster and estimators to feel more confident in their work.


We started when Michael Navarro, an estimating veteran at Suffolk, knew there was a better way than relying on spreadsheet nightmares, and began creating a solution built by estimators, for estimators. He teamed up with Dustin DeVan, founder of BuildingConnected (acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), to launch Ediphi in 2023. With a $12M Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners and with ongoing participation from Suffolk Technologies, Ediphi continues to grow as a SaaS offering for General Contractors around the country.

About the role

Ediphi is hiring a high-energy Sales Development Representative to be the tip of the spear for our outbound sales motion. You will be the first voice prospective customers hear from Ediphi — running targeted outbound into ENR Top 400 general contractors and turning trade show conversations, webinar registrants, and event booth scans into qualified meetings for our Account Executives.


This is not a "spray and pray" role. We sell into a defined list of high-value accounts, and we expect thoughtful, researched, persistent outreach that gets chief estimators and preconstruction leaders to pay attention. You will work directly with our Director of Business Development, alongside our Account Executives, RevOps, and Marketing teams, to build pipeline that actually closes.


Given the rise in Artificial Intelligence capabilities within the sales development function, we are looking for someone who is well versed in using technologies such as Claude to research accounts, personalize outreach, and automate repetitive workflows. Applicants who have specific examples of AI usage will stand out in the process.

What you'll do

  • Own outbound prospecting into target account lists, ENR Top 400 general contractors, self-perform contractors, estimating teams, and more. 
  • Cold call, email, and LinkedIn message the right stakeholders — chief estimators, VPs of Preconstruction, Directors of Estimating — and open conversations about what Ediphi can do for their business.
  • Run pre- and post-event follow-up for marquee industry conferences, including booth scans, warm handoffs from leadership, and targeted sequences to convert event conversations into booked meetings.
  • Partner with Account Executives on territory and account strategy, ensuring every meeting is qualified and set up to advance.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce and Outreach, giving RevOps the clean inputs needed for forecasting and attribution.
  • Develop real fluency in how GCs run preconstruction — quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, bid leveling, historical cost data, self-perform vs. subcontracted work — so you can have credible conversations with senior estimators on day 30.
  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly meeting and pipeline targets.
  • Share what you learn from the field back with Marketing and Product to sharpen messaging and ICP targeting.

What we're looking for

  • Most importantly: Passion, curiosity, and a go-getting attitude. Character is everything.
  • Comfort with high-volume, high-quality outbound — you know the difference between activity and results
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can write a cold email a chief estimator will actually open
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Salesforce, Outreach (or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools such as Apollo or ZoomInfo
  • Self-directed and organized — this is a remote role at a Series A company
  • Curiosity about the construction industry and a genuine interest in learning how general contractors build buildings

Nice to have

  • 1+ years in an SDR, BDR, or customer-facing sales role (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience selling into construction, AEC, or industrial audiences
  • Background at a construction technology company (BuildingConnected, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Sage, Trimble, or similar)
  • Experience using AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, or automate parts of the SDR workflow
  • Previous experience in an SDR fellowship or sales development program (SalesBootcamp, Pave, etc.)
