Aubrant Digital is seeking highly skilled and collaborative Senior Data Engineers to join a cross-functional scrum team and focus on on data engineering execution while migrating pipelines from Informatica to Azure Data Factory (ADF) on a Snowflake-centric stack. This is a hands-on contributor role accountable for taking stories from intake through to Production.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Hands-on contributor with a proven track record of taking stories from start to Production.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a “doer,” jumping into complex tasks and driving them to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake, including:
    • Query writing
    • Query performance tuning
    • Working knowledge of core Snowflake features (e.g., dynamic tables, streams, tasks, warehouses, roles)
  • A process-oriented mindset, with experience identifying gaps, improving workflows, and implementing repeatable, scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and patterns, especially in a rapidly evolving data ecosystem.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional scrum team, engineers, analysts, architects, and product partners; to refine requirements, align delivery expectations, and identify process improvements.
  • Understanding ETL Orchestration, including orchestration, dependency management, error handling, and data validation.

Should-Have Requirements

  • Python skills with practical experience building data pipelines, automation scripts, integrations, and reusable components.
    • Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code following modern engineering best practices.
  • Prior experience implementing template-based and configuration-driven frameworks for ETL processes.
  • Ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data movement pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of structured data storage, performance tuning, and schema design.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration and data movement.
  • Ability to do a pull request, migrate code, branching

Could-Have / Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Experience migrating pipelines from Informatica to ADF or another modern orchestration platform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and processes, particularly around:
    • CI/CD for data engineering
    • Branching strategies 
  • Ability to translate solution architecture blueprints into actionable implementation steps.
  • Capable of working closely with a lead engineer or architect to break down a strategy and drive execution on individual components.
