While mastery is not required at the outset, rapid learning, technical fluency, and continuous upskilling are core expectations. The company will support your growth through guidance and coaching, and you are expected to actively develop and apply your skills as part of your role.


About the Role:

The Senior Content Designer will own and execute the complete visual asset lifecycle across the brand portfolio, ensuring cohesive, high-quality creative output for Amazon, DTC channels, and digital marketing. Working closely with marketing leadership and partnering with the content strategist, you will integrate traditional product photography with generative AI workflows to scale production efficiency. By maintaining a strong creative point of view and a proactive mindset, this designer will directly influence the company’s market positioning and commercial growth.


What You'll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end creation of visual assets across our brand portfolio, from concept and ideation through to final delivery, for Amazon (gallery images, A+, storefront), DTC websites, email campaigns, paid social ads, and packaging
  • Bring a strong creative POV to every brief; push back when something isn't right, propose better directions, and elevate the work beyond what was asked
  • Collaborate closely with our content strategist who owns all copy — you build from her words and flag when visual and copy aren't aligned
  • Proactively identify creative opportunities across brands and bring ideas constantly
  • Capture your own raw material: shoot and photograph products in-office, and film short video content when needed
  • Leverage AI tools (Midjourney, generative workflows) as a core part of your production process


Who You Are:

  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital content design, where you've built assets that live on Amazon, websites, emails, and paid social
  • You have a genuine creative POV and the confidence to use it. You elevate briefs, not just execute them.
  • AI-native: Midjourney and generative workflows are already a natural part of how you work
  • Detail-oriented and reliable; you manage multiple briefs across multiple brands without dropping quality
  • Strong understanding of Amazon content standards and what makes a gallery image convert
  • Comfortable behind a camera: product photography and short video are part of your toolkit
  • Self-directed and proactive: you spot opportunities, flag problems early, and bring ideas constantly
  • You thrive in a small, fast-moving team where ownership is real and autonomy is high


Selection process:

We want to get to know your technical expertise, your strategic mindset, and how you approach problem-solving. Here is what you can expect during the interview process:

  • Step 1: Initial Screening
    • A conversational interview with our Talent Acquisition/HR team. We will focus on understanding your core experience, your alignment with the role’s requirements, your aptitude for AI and emerging tech, and your overall cultural fit at Essor.
  • Step 2: Case Study Assessment
    • A practical, take-home exercise designed to give you an opportunity to showcase your strategy, technical capabilities, and problem-solving skills in a real-world scenario.
  • Step 3: Deep Dive & Case Review
    • You will meet first with the Hiring Manager, followed by the Head of Department. During these sessions, we will review your case study presentation, evaluate your blend of hard and soft skills, and discuss how you would collaborate with the wider team.
  • Step 4: Final Leadership Interview
    • A final conversation with members of our leadership team to align on high-level strategy, business impact, and long-term vision.


Digital Fluency & AI Integration

At Essor, technical fluency is a prerequisite for excellence. We look for individuals who are excited to pioneer new ways of working by leveraging LLMs, automated workflows, and data analysis tools.


Whether it’s deploying AI coding agents (Copilot, Antigravity) to ship faster, building agentic workflows in N8N or Dify, or querying data via SQL to drive objective decisions, you should be a practitioner of the "automated-first" mindset. While we don't expect Day 1 mastery, we do require a relentless "learn-and-apply" loop.
