About the role

The Inventory Systems Analyst (ISA) bridges the gap between product strategy and execution and serves as an ERP/inventory/data power user.  This role works closely with product managers, sales, marketing, supply chain, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product data integrity, new product introductions, lifecycle management, and other priorities. They also communicate insights and recommendations to various teams and stakeholders.  The ISA will play an important role in maintaining accurate inventory/product data, maximizing data integrity, and supporting efficient supply chain operations.  The position also oversees the ERP Warehouse Management System (WMS) operational efficiency.  This includes coordinating the flow of information from Warehouse Operations, Customer Service and Supply Chain. 

 

What you'll do

  • Support new product introduction data collection/consolidation working closely with sales, marketing, product management/development, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate item master/product data in the ERP system.
  • Analyze inventory/demand data to support product lifecycle management.
  • Support generation/distribution inventory obsolescence reporting under the direction of the Sr. Supply Chain Manager.
  • Analyze data, conduct market research, and provide insights to support product teams in making informed decisions about product development, strategy, and overall direction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline inventory-related workflows.
  • Utilize and maintain ERP data for item master management.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to inventory control staff.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintaining customer experience through ERP processing with vendor
  • Process flow management and resolution of customer orders internally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, with a proven track record of success.  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using ERP/WMS systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
