Business Analyst

Title: Business Analyst

Location: Fort Meyers, FL


The Business Analyst supports organizational objectives by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and implement solutions that align with business goals.


Job Duties

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders to support operational and strategic initiatives
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and clear documentation for technical and non-technical teams
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement solutions that improve business processes
  • Support project management activities, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and milestones
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired business states
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Document current and future state processes, workflows, and system enhancements
  • Analyze and support inventory management processes, including tracking inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and recommending improvements to optimize stock control and accuracy
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to enhance inventory systems, reporting, and forecasting to ensure efficiency and cost control
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive business, employee, and operational information and ensure it is not disclosed without proper authorization
  • Lead the variable compensation process for our various performance-based compensation plans.
  • Other related duties as required


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • 2–5+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or a related role
  • Experience with inventory management, supply chain coordination, or operations analytics is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process mapping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred experience with Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
