Strategy & Operations Associate, Fulfillment

At GoBolt, we provide a technology-driven, customer-centric and sustainable approach to ecommerce and last-mile logistics for businesses of all sizes – from local brands to large national retailers. By operating as an extension of our customer's team, we deliver best-in-class services every step of the way.

We're building North America’s largest electric vehicle fleet to help bring sustainability to an industry notorious for its heavy impact on the environment. We are in high growth mode and building for the future, which is where you come in!

The Strategy and Operations Associate, Fulfillment supports the Strategy & Operations team across cost, pricing, quality, network, and implementation initiatives — providing the analytical horsepower and coordination support that lets the Program Managers move faster. You won't own an initiative end-to-end, but you'll be the person doing the data pulls, building the first draft of a model, prepping materials for a leadership review, and keeping trackers current so nothing falls through the cracks.

A meaningful part of this role is also identifying and building automation that reduces manual work across the warehouse network — turning repeatable spreadsheet processes into tools that site teams and Program Managers can rely on. You don't need to be a trained engineer, but you should be comfortable learning scripting and BI tools and genuinely interested in building things, not just analyzing what already exists.

This is a learning and growth role for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to how a 3PL's strategy and operations function works, with the chance to build real technical/automation skills along the way.

Salary Range: CAD$75k-85k base

Location: This position is based out of our Downtown Toronto office, 4 days a week in office minimum

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Analysis & Reporting Support

  • Pull, clean, and organize data to support cost, pricing, labor, quality, or SLA analysis led by Program Managers
  • Build and maintain recurring reports and trackers (KPIs, project status, cost/margin dashboards), flagging anomalies to the relevant PM rather than resolving them independently
  • Support the first-draft build of costing models, business cases, or proposals under a Program Manager's direction

Automation & Tooling Support

  • Identify manual, repetitive processes across sites or within the team, and build automation or tools to reduce them (e.g., recurring reports, data entry, routine calculations)
  • Support the build and maintenance of dashboards that reduce the need for manual data pulls
  • Partner with Program Managers and IT as needed, learning new tools/scripting approaches as opportunities arise

Project & Coordination Support

  • Support project execution across implementation, network, and strategic initiatives — tracking milestones, coordinating meetings, and maintaining documentation
  • Assist with merchant onboarding and site launch activities (data setup, timeline coordination, checklist tracking) under the direction of the Implementation PM
  • Prepare materials (decks, briefs, summaries) for leadership reviews and external presentations

Research & Ad Hoc Support

  • Conduct research and benchmarking to support strategic initiatives (market comps, competitor pricing, industry practices)
  • Take on ad hoc analysis, reporting, or automation requests across the team as priorities shift week to week
  • Support RFQ/RFP responses by assembling data, formatting proposals, and coordinating inputs from other functions

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, business analysis, or a related field (internships and co-ops count)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn scripting/automation tools (Python, VBA, Google Apps Script, SQL) — no prior expertise required, but genuine interest is
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail — this role is often the reason nothing gets dropped
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and coachable — comfortable asking questions, flagging issues early, and figuring out a new tool without being walked through every step
