What You’ll Do
As a Paid Social Senior Manager, you’ll lead the strategic direction, optimization approach, and performance growth for a portfolio of primarily eCommerce and DTC clients. This role is designed for a highly experienced paid social strategist who can independently lead accounts, drive full-funnel campaign strategy, and translate performance insights into actionable business recommendations.
You’ll oversee paid social programs across platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, and LinkedIn - helping clients scale revenue, improve efficiency, and evolve acquisition strategies through structured testing, thoughtful optimization, and data-informed decision making.
While this role remains highly hands-on and performance-focused, you’ll also be expected to think more holistically about the customer journey - understanding how prospecting, retargeting, creative strategy, attribution, and lifecycle marketing efforts work together to support broader business goals.
As a senior strategic contributor, you’ll help communicate performance insights, testing learnings, and optimization recommendations that support smarter investment decisions and long-term account growth.
What your day-to-day will look like
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Leading paid social strategy across a portfolio of primarily eCommerce and DTC accounts
Building and managing full-funnel paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
Structuring campaign architectures with strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and conversion outcomes
Managing budgets, pacing, bid strategies, audience segmentation, and spend allocation decisions across funnel stages
Identifying growth opportunities and optimization priorities based on account performance and business goals
Staying informed on platform updates, beta products, and evolving paid social best practices
Performance Optimization & Testing
Monitoring performance daily and proactively optimizing campaigns based on KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, CVR, MER, and revenue
Leading structured A/B testing initiatives across creative, audiences, placements, bidding strategies, and landing page experiences
Developing optimization plans designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and long-term account performance
Translating performance trends into actionable testing hypotheses and strategic recommendations
Documenting testing learnings and helping identify repeatable best practices across accounts
Measurement & Analytics
Analyzing platform data, third-party analytics, and attribution tools to evaluate campaign performance and guide optimization decisions
Supporting measurement best practices including tracking validation, attribution alignment, CAPI implementation, and campaign tagging
Translating performance data into actionable insights and clear next-step recommendations for clients and internal teams
Helping clients understand how paid social contributes across broader acquisition and conversion efforts
Contributing to performance analysis tied to incrementality thinking, attribution models, and broader media efficiency conversations
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting clarity, performance interpretation, and measurement consistency
Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partnering closely with creative teams to inform and iterate on social-first, performance-driven creative concepts
Providing strategic creative feedback rooted in performance insights, audience behavior, messaging trends, and platform-native best practices
Collaborating with Client Strategy, SEO, CRO, Analytics, and broader Paid Media teams on integrated campaign initiatives
Helping align paid social efforts with broader lifecycle, retention, and customer acquisition strategies
Supporting cross-functional planning initiatives that connect paid social to broader business and marketing goals
Client Communication & Account Ownership
Owning performance outcomes across assigned accounts, including optimization direction, strategic recommendations, and execution quality
Leading client calls, performance discussions, and campaign reviews as a trusted day-to-day strategic lead
Communicating testing rationales, optimization priorities, and performance insights in a clear and business-oriented way
Preparing reporting insights, strategic recommendations, and testing updates for both internal teams and client stakeholders
Managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with strong organization and prioritization
Building strong client trust through proactive communication, accountability, strategic thinking, and consistent delivery of high-quality work
What you’ll bring to the role
Paid Social Execution & Performance Expertise
4-6 years of hands-on paid social experience, preferably within an agency environment
Proven experience managing performance-focused campaigns for eCommerce, DTC, and/or lead generation brands
Strong platform expertise within major paid social platforms
Proven ability to manage campaign execution, optimization strategy, and budget allocation across multiple accounts
Strong “hands-on keyboard” mindset with the ability to both strategize and execute at a high level
Funnel & Strategic Thinking
Strong understanding of full-funnel paid social strategy including prospecting, retargeting, conversion-focused campaigns, and lifecycle-aligned activations
Ability to connect paid social performance to broader business goals such as revenue growth, customer acquisition efficiency, and conversion improvement
Experience developing testing strategies and optimization roadmaps rooted in measurable performance outcomes
Comfort balancing tactical execution with strategic account thinking
Curiosity around evolving paid social trends, platform updates, AI-driven workflows, and social commerce opportunities
Measurement & Analytical Skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Experience using third-party analytics, platform analytics, attribution tools, and reporting systems to evaluate campaign performance
Familiarity with attribution concepts, lift testing, incrementality thinking, and modern measurement approaches
Ability to communicate performance insights clearly to both internal teams and clients
High attention to detail with strong QA habits and data accuracy standards
Platform & Social Commerce Fluency
Experience supporting campaigns tied to social commerce initiatives (TikTok Shop, catalog sales, affiliate + paid integration, etc.)
Understanding of how paid media supports broader conversion ecosystems and platform-native shopping experiences
Comfort working within fast-evolving platform environments, including beta features and emerging ad products
Familiarity with feed-based advertising, dynamic product campaigns, and platform-native commerce formats
Communication & Professional Presence
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain performance trends, testing insights, and optimization strategies in a digestible and actionable way
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members within collaborative team environments

Bonus Qualifications
Experience supporting Social Commerce programs (TikTok Shop, GMV Max, affiliate + paid integration, etc.)
Exposure to server-side tracking, CAPI implementation, or advanced conversion tracking setups
Experience with third-party attribution and measurement tools (Northbeam, Triple Whale, Fospha, Haus, etc.)
