Alongside our award winning Havenly design services, we proudly own and operate some of the best home furnishings brands in the business including Havenly, Interior Define, The Citizenry, Burrow, Inside, and St. Frank. Our family of brands is growing and we're looking for amazing people to join us on this journey!

Havenly is not just the #1 residential interior design service in America - we're architecting the future of how millions design their homes. With our proprietary 3D visualization technology, our worldwide network of designers empowered with AI tools, and our revolutionary customer-facing AI design assistant, we're at the inflection point of a massive market transformation. This isn't just another operations role, it's the opportunity to build the category-defining business at the intersection of AI, design, and commerce.

Our Core Values

  • Exhibit Gumption: meet every challenge with spirit and energy; believe the impossible is possible.
  • Overperform: work hard, move fast, be scrappy.
  • Stay Playful: no jerks, no whiners; have fun and keep perspective.
  • Act Like an Owner: be accountable, speak up, act in Havenly's best interest.

About the Role

Havenly is looking to hire a Manager, Fulfillment & Inventory Operations. We're looking for a builder. Someone who sees a messy spreadsheet and immediately wants to replace it with a script, who reads a manual process doc and asks "why isn't this automated yet," and who is equally comfortable presenting a data model to the engineering team and rolling up their sleeves to resolve a 3PL exception. This role is for the analytically sharp, tech-forward operator who wants broad ownership fast.

You'll own end-to-end fulfillment and inventory operations across Havenly's Owned & Operated (O&O) brands from inbound receipt through outbound fulfillment and returns. But you're also expected to be a builder: partnering with the data team to create scalable pipelines and dashboards, standing up integrations between internal systems and vendor platforms, and using AI tools to accelerate everything from root cause analysis to SOP documentation.

This isn't a role where you inherit a well-oiled machine. You'll inherit a real operation with real complexity and you'll be expected to make it faster, smarter, and more resilient. You'll also help with frontline exceptions, ad hoc tasks, and whatever the team needs day-to-day.

What You'll Own

  • Own fulfillment execution for O&O brands, ensuring accurate and timely order processing through 3PL partners.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy across NetSuite, 3PL WMS systems, and internal tools; build the monitoring that catches discrepancies before they escalate.
  • Define and hold SLAs from PO placement through inventory availability, returns processing, and order shipment.
  • Own end-to-end returns operations from inbound receipt and condition triage through disposition routing, vendor credits, and recommerce/resale channel execution with a focus on speed, accuracy, and margin recovery.
  • Serve as the escalation point for inventory and fulfillment exceptions.
  • Manage 3PL operational performance with a data-first lens: track trends, identify root causes, and drive accountability through structured reviews.
  • Own domestic carrier relationships and performance, holding those vendors to shared service and cost expectations.
  • Partner with Planning and Finance on inventory reconciliation, audits, and operational inputs to forecasting, including a month end review to confirm inventory is accurate and correctly positioned at each close.
  • Define and support Transfer Order protocols and required inventory flows for store and showroom locations.
  • Work directly with the QC Specialist to align on inbound inspection standards, disposition criteria, and exception escalation protocols ensuring consistent quality outcomes across fulfillment and returns flows.
  • Own functional costs and manage the operating P&L for fulfillment and inventory ops.
  • Coordinate closely with our offshore operations team and our global logistics function to keep execution aligned across time zones and geographies.

What You'll Drive

  • Partner with the data engineering and analytics team to design and maintain scalable reporting pipelines, operational dashboards, and real-time alerting.
  • Use AI tools, scripting, and workflow automation to streamline exception handling, reporting, and SOP creation.
  • Take automation priorities set by operations leadership and carry them from idea to working process, owning the build, the rollout, and the day to day once it's live.
  • Proactively identify manual or error-prone workflows and propose and execute automations that reduce operational drag, including in areas where no playbook or SOP exists yet.
  • Document and systematize operational processes, turning one-off fixes into repeatable, auditable playbooks.
  • Train partners and stakeholders on new process, then hold them accountable to it, whether or not they report to you.

We Are Looking for People Who:

  • Have experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or a related field. Adjacent experience counts. We care more about demonstrated competency than years spent doing this exact job.
  • Are analytically wired: you reach for data before opinions, and you can pull, manipulate, and interpret it yourself.
  • Are comfortable using AI and automation tools to improve how work gets done. You don't need to be an engineer or speak to the science, but you should know what's out there, what these tools are good for, and be able to look at a manual workflow and see where automation could create real efficiency or accuracy gains.
  • Are naturally curious and excited by what's possible when operations and engineering overlap.
  • Are builders, not just maintainers. You see inefficiency and feel compelled to fix it structurally, not just patch it.
  • Take initiative without being asked. You've stepped outside your defined scope to get something done, and you figure it out when there's no playbook to follow.
  • Are confident, persuasive communicators. You can translate between operational realities and data or engineering stakeholders, you write clearly, and you can hold internal and external partners accountable without formal authority over them.
  • Are scrappy and no ego. You're as comfortable pulling exception reports at 8am as you are presenting findings to a senior team. No task is too small.
  • Are strongly organized with real attention to detail: you follow through, flag issues early, keep systems clean, and manage multiple workstreams without dropping balls.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Shopify, and ERP, WMS, or OMS platforms.
  • A specific example of a process or workflow you automated to improve speed, accuracy, or outcomes.
  • Background in e-commerce, omnichannel retail, or consumer goods.
  • Experience working directly with 3PL partners or in a fulfillment center environment.
  • Experience managing reverse logistics or recommerce workflows, including disposition decision frameworks, resale channel operations, or returns program ownership.

At Havenly, we're building with AI as part of how we work. We're looking for people who are genuinely curious about AI-assisted tools and eager to adopt them; this is about openness and aptitude, not existing expertise.
