Role Description

Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining an efficient, productive, and positive work environment by coordinating administrative duties, managing office supplies and vendors, supporting internal teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations.

Your role:

• Manage general office operations and ensure a well-organized and functional workplace. 
• Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with building management and vendors.
• Receive packages, distribute to the appropriate person or put in the supply closet.
• Load/unload the dishwasher, wiping down counter tops and management of general cleanliness of the office. 
• Keep the office and kitchen stocked daily with relevant supplies including but not limited to drinks, snacks, paper towels.
• Maintain office supply inventory, place orders, and oversee deliveries.
• Purchase catering, lunch for teams or individuals as requested and needed.
• Assist with scheduling, creating meetings and ensuring room availability.
• Greet visitors, getting them into a conference room or dedicated place. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
