About the role

As our Financial Architect, you will lead the build-out and ongoing management of our global finance function from India. This is a high-impact, build-and-run role. You will assess current processes, establish best-in-class controls, and serve as the senior financial point of contact across all geographies, reporting directly to the CEO/COO at US HQ.

Essential Functions

  • Assess existing financial processes across all geographies; identify gaps and implement scalable SOPs for AP/AR, payroll, expense management, and month-end close
  • Manage end-to-end statutory filings — SOFTEX, GST, TDS, FEMA, PF/ESI, ROC (India); VAT and Corporate Tax (UAE); FBR/PRA sales tax (Pakistan); coordinate with CPAs in various geos for audit and compliance
  • Own the global Transfer Pricing framework; ensure all intercompany invoices are arm's-length priced and audit-ready for IRS, FBR, and Indian Tax Authorities
  • Implement rigorous project-margin tracking with Delivery Heads - analyze billability vs. utilization to ensure high-revenue projects translate to bottom-line profit
  • Optimize cross-border fund flows; manage forex exposure, intercompany settlements, and banking relationships to minimize loss and ensure payroll/vendor coverage
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly management reporting and board-level dashboards: EBITDA, operating margin, revenue per employee, burn rate, and cash flow
  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for employees across India, UAE, Pakistan, and North America, ensuring statutory compliance (PF/ESI/TDS), accurate calculations, and on-time disbursement every cycle
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle - vendor onboarding, invoice validation, payment scheduling, and reconciliation; resolve disputes and maintain strong vendor relationships while enforcing cost controls
  • Build, hire, and develop a lean finance and accounting team in India as the function scales
  • Serve as the primary finance liaison for US HQ; support consolidated reporting, external audits, and financial due diligence as required

Required Qualifications
