Instrumentum

Recruiting Coordinator

About Instrumentum

Instrumentum is a national sterile processing partner that helps hospitals and surgery centers run efficient, compliant, and safe instrument reprocessing operations, so our partners can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Instrumentum is an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

Instrumentum is hiring a Full-Cycle Recruiter to lead hiring for an upcoming site launch. $60,000–$70,000 per year, plus a $2,500 bonus when the site reaches 90% of its staffing target by opening day.

This is a full search, start to finish — yours to run.

Most recruiting roles hand you a piece of the process. This one hands you the whole thing: you build the pipeline, you run the interviews, you make the offer, and you watch the site open fully staffed because of the work you did. You report directly to our VP of Talent — there is no layer in between.

We are a national sterile processing partner to hospitals and surgery centers, and our Talent team is new and still being built. This is a ground-floor seat on a department that is scaling from a handful of people today toward several times that size over the next few years. Strong performance on this launch is the clearest path to leading the next one.

The job

You will own recruiting for the hourly technicians who staff an upcoming client facility launch — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing every hire yourself, on a countdown to a fixed opening date. This is one search after another under a real deadline, not a steady trickle of reqs.

What you will do

Source and build a candidate pipeline for hourly technician roles ahead of a facility opening date

Manage requisitions and candidates in Rippling, and run sourcing through Indeed

Screen candidates and run the interview loop start to finish for every requisition you own

Extend and negotiate offers within approved parameters, and close candidates yourself

Coordinate the handoff to HR for background checks, credentialing, and onboarding once a candidate accepts

Report pipeline health and progress against the staffing goal directly to the VP of Talent

What you need

1–2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or sales

    A bachelor’s degree

Comfort owning a full search — source through close — with minimal oversight

Authorization to work in the United States

What we would like to see

Hands-on experience with Rippling and/or Indeed

Experience recruiting for hourly or frontline roles

A track record in a target-driven environment, recruiting or sales

Who does well here

People who want the whole search, not a slice of it. People who would rather hit a real staffing number on a real date than manage a comfortable, steady queue of reqs. People who take direct access to a VP as a chance to move fast, not as pressure. If you have done well in a role where your results were visible and attributable to you — recruiting or sales — this will feel familiar.

The physical side of the job

This is a remote, home-office role. We would rather you know now than find out in week two.

Extensive time on video calls and phone screens; extensive reading and typing

Occasional travel, under 10%, to support on-site launch activity

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position

Pay and benefits

$60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a $2,500 bonus for reaching 90% of launch staffing by opening day

Medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective the first of the month after your start date

Company-paid life insurance, plus short- and long-term disability

    Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

401(k) with company match — you are eligible from your first day

Paid time off that starts accruing on day one, beginning at 10 days and increasing with tenure

    9 paid holidays

    Employee Assistance Program

    Paid every two weeks

Schedule and location

Full-time, fully remote, any U.S. time zone, standard business hours. We are hiring quickly for an upcoming launch and would like this role filled soon — if the pace and the pipeline pressure sound appealing rather than stressful, this is built for you.
