Position: Operations Associate, GTM
Department: Commercial Operations
Location: Remote (Austin or Dallas, TX area preferred / commutable)
As the GTM Operations Associate, you will serve as the engine behind Interplay’s Go-To-Market system. Reporting to the EVP of Commercial Operations, you will track pipeline health, optimize lead and sales workflows across marketing and revenue teams, and lead key cross-functional GTM initiatives.
This is a hands-on technical and operational role where you will actively build and automate solutions using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Claude to drive measurable business growth.
Why this role?
- Meaningful, impactful work
- Mission-driven company
- Career development in a dynamic, high growth environment
- Passionate, collaborative team
- Innovative product - EdTech, VR, AI
What you’ll do:
- Reporting & Forecast Support: Maintain weekly reporting and forecast inputs, giving revenue leadership a clear view of pipeline coverage, pipeline quality, lead follow-up, rep performance, and progress toward targets. Own the agenda and weekly metrics reporting for the Thursday revenue leadership meeting.
- Revenue Meeting Support: Keep the weekly revenue meeting running smoothly from preparation through follow-up. Build pre-reads, capture decisions and action items, assign owners and deadlines, and track follow-through to completion.
- Territory & Account Planning: Support territory design, account assignments, top-account planning, and target-list development by segment in partnership with the EVP of Revenue and SDR leader. Lead strategic account sequencing and targeting initiatives to tee up optimal account lists for marketing and SDR teams.
- Funnel & Lead Operations: Monitor the marketing-to-sales funnel and help identify where prospects are getting stuck or lost. Investigate conversion issues, lead follow-up gaps, routing problems, and data quality issues, and help keep Salesforce and HubSpot processes running smoothly.
- Cross-Functional GTM Programs: Help drive strategic go-to-market initiatives from planning through execution and measurement, including our ROI program and skill-leveling initiatives. Coordinate across teams, track progress, and help ensure programs deliver the intended results.
- Analysis, Automation & Process Improvement: Use data, AI, and automation to uncover insights, improve pipeline and rep performance, and reduce manual work. Build and maintain workflows, reporting, lead management, and campaign processes that help our GTM teams work more efficiently.
Who you are:
- Structured thinker and excellent communicator
- Hands-on operator fluency with Salesforce and HubSpot — able to build reports, dashboards, and lists directly and diagnose data-model issues
- Fluent with AI tools (especially Claude) as a working instrument for analysis, drafting, and automation building
- Diagnostic instinct — reasons from mechanism, isolates before concluding, and distinguishes leading from lagging signals
- Strong project and change management skills, able to run multiple live workstreams owned by people outside their reporting line
- Self-directed against a quarterly mandate, with credibility in front of sellers (AEs and SDRs)
- Sound judgment about sequencing and prioritization in a high-change, resource-conscious environment
Requirements:
- 2–3+ years of experience in revenue operations, GTM or business operations, sales strategy, management consulting, or a chief-of-staff role; B2B SaaS exposure preferred, not required.
- A track record of driving initiatives to completion and adoption, not just delivering analysis — able to walk through an example end to end, including how they got other people to change behavior.
- Hands-on experience as a Salesforce and HubSpot operator (not just a user), including data-model fluency.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools, Claude especially, for analysis, drafting, and automation — able to show a built example.
- Preferred: experience across a segmented GTM motion (commercial and public sector, or SMB and enterprise); territory design, account planning, or list-building experience; conversation intelligence (Gong) and sales engagement tools (Nooks, Outreach, Salesloft); BI/forecast tooling (Omni, Looker, Tableau); ROI or value-engineering program experience; experience operating through a real period of organizational change.
Pay: $100k-$110k annual salary
Final compensation will reflect the candidate's experience and demonstrated impact.
