POSITION / TITLE: PARTNER SALES MANAGER 

LOCATION: Seattle, WA or San Mateo, CA

OVERVIEW:

The Partner Manager is responsible for working with strategic technology partners to source, develop, and influence sales opportunities. This includes prospecting at joint events, conceptualizing and driving sales campaigns, and working closely across partner and Kore.ai sales teams to coordinate co-sell activities. The successful candidate will have experience in demand generation, software sales or business development, and will be comfortable working with uncertainty in a fast-paced environment and able to put structure to nebulous, unstructured problems. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own a defined partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline target, with accountability for pipeline creation, qualification, progression, and revenue impact. 
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with strategic hyperscaler and technology partners. 
  • Prospect directly into priority accounts through partner relationships, executive networks, events, campaigns, and targeted account-based initiatives. 
  • Activate partner account teams by giving them a compelling reason to bring Kore.ai into active customer opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior executives, partner sellers, industry leaders, solution specialists, and account teams.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospective customers to identify business problems, urgency, decision-makers, and qualified use cases.
  • Drive disciplined opportunity progression by establishing owners, next steps, timelines, and executive actions after every customer and partner engagement.
  • Design and execute joint campaigns, executive engagements, workshops, and events that produce measurable qualified pipeline.
  • Coordinate closely with Kore.ai sales teams while maintaining personal ownership of partner engagement and momentum.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide clear visibility into opportunity status, partner involvement, risks, and required actions.
  • Operate with limited oversight, move with urgency, and take ownership of outcomes across organizational boundaries.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a high-tech industry (preferably enterprise software) in the following roles: Business Development, Sales, Partner or channel development required.
  • Experience prospecting and developing new sales opportunities required.
  • Hunter mentality with a track record of creating opportunities, opening doors, and persistently focused on driving deals forward required.
  • Experience carrying or being directly accountable for pipeline and revenue targets required.
  • Ability to develop strong product knowledge of Kore’s products and services required. 
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling vision and strategy for partner success required.
  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to present in formal and informal settings required.
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive programs and/or products required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels required.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships, negotiate, and problem solve with external partners required.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Industry vertical experience in financial services, healthcare, travel and hospitality, telecom, mobile ecommerce or social networking
  • Prior experience at a fast-paced startup and able to work well in unstructured environments

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

  • BSc or BA in technology or business-related field required.

 

Depending on specific professional experience and geographical location of individuals, the salary for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000. Additional wage/bonus/commission and benefit details will be shared during the formal interview process for this full-time employment opportunity.
