We are sourcing for a highly organized and strategic Wholesale Account Operations Associate (Majors and Account Programs). The mission of this role is to lead wholesale account and representative support operations. You will serve as the core operational engine driving account health, process excellence, and sales representative enablement. Acting as the primary line of support for 12 sales representatives, you will seamlessly manage everything from day-to-day administrative requests to high-stakes Major account compliance. This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Rep Partnership and Support
- Dedicated Representative Support: Act as the direct, trusted operational partner for 12 active sales representatives, support pre- and post-sale needs.
- SOP Communication: Regularly communicate and clarify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reps to ensure operational consistency across territories.
- Product & Sample Logistics: Coordinate product movement and manage sample distribution to ensure reps have active collections in hand.
- Marketing Deliverables: Package and distribute updated marketing collateral directly to sales representatives to support regional sell-in initiatives.
- Trade Show Coordination: Streamline and manage all sales representative trade show requests, schedules, and operational intake.
Operations and Systems Management
- StorePoint Maintenance: Drive system accuracy by managing StorePoint maintenance, actively auditing both new and aged accounts.
- ERP Account Maintenance: Maintain total data hygiene across enterprise systems through continuous ERP account maintenance and clean backend reporting.
- Onboarding Execution: Manage the end-to-end operational and system setup for newly hired sales representatives to ensure seamless field deployment.
Major Account Operations and Compliance
- Pre-Sales Support: Partner with strategic accounts to provide critical pre-sales support, including building line sheets, coordinating custom label ordering, and scheduling shipments.
- Compliance Protocols: Maintain strict oversight of Vendor Operating Manuals (VOM) and execute compliance standards flawlessly to eliminate operational friction.
- EDI Administration: Oversee Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) compliance systems, coordinating with Finance and internal teams to manage order flow without transmission gaps.
Administration and Account Management
- Application Intake: Review and process new wholesale account applications, leading initial intake evaluations.
- New Account Infrastructure: Execute new account setups, managing ERP updates, wholesale ordering platform configurations, and necessary cross-functional configurations.
- Royalty Tier Alignment: Manage and process backend account royalty tier movements based on purchasing metrics and term guidelines.
- AR & Financial Support: Provide consistent accounts receivable (AR) support, handling proactive balance follow-ups and account reconciliations.
- Leadership Support: Pull, track, and deliver weekly touchpoint intake data to support the Head of Wholesale with executive visibility
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in wholesale operations, sales administration, B2B account support, or a fast-paced retail compliance environment.
- Highly Organized Operator: You treat logistics, multi-step workflows, and data entry like a puzzle; you double-check routing details and avoid gaps before they happen.
- Communication Star: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can distill complex system changes or routing parameters into clear, friendly instructions for field reps.
- Tech-Fluent: Comfort picking up specialized software quickly. Direct exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms (such as NetSuite) and wholesale ordering ecosystems (such as NuOrder) is highly preferred.
- Detail Obsessed: You notice the minor details that others skip, ensuring customer databases and compliance folders stay accurate.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to New Orleans, LA.
