Position Summary

We are seeking qualified candidates for anticipated Flightline Escort positions supporting operations at a U.S. military installation in Japan. This role supports secure operations within controlled airfield and flight-line environments by monitoring authorized personnel movement, maintaining operational awareness, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety and security procedures.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in fast-paced operational environments with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort personnel within active flight-line and restricted airfield zones
• Maintain 100% situational awareness of flightline hazards
• Enforce compliance with flightline safety rules and security procedures
• Inspect vehicles and equipment entering the flightline
• Coordinate closely with Airfield Management as required
• Prevent unauthorized access, sabotage, or intelligence collection activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Tier‑1 (NACI) background investigation (current and in scope)
• Valid Misawa Air Base Restricted Area Badge (RAB)
• Designation under the 35th Fighter Wing Escort Program
• Ability to qualify for and maintain flightline driving privileges (max 3 attempts)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of working extended hours in construction and flightline environments
• Valid Flightline Driving Privileges
• Demonstrated competence working in high-risk aviation environments
• Ability to respond quickly to dynamic flight-line conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aviation, flightline, military, security, construction support, or operational environments
• Experience working on government or military installations
• Prior overseas (OCONUS) experience
• Familiarity with airfield safety or operational security procedures
• Experience operating in high-risk or safety-sensitive environments

Work Environment

• On-site position located at a U.S. military installation in Japan
• Frequent walking, standing, and outdoor activity
• Work performed near active operational and aviation environments
• Exposure to varying weather, noise levels, and operational conditions
• May require extended hours based on operational tempo
