The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Engineering, Data & AI to lead the development of Measurabl’s next-
generation data platform and AI capabilities. This is a mission-critical, enterprise-level leadership role
responsible for:
● Owning Measurabl’s data and AI platform strategy and execution
● Building and scaling a world-class Data & AI Engineering organization
● Embedding intelligence across every product and customer workflow
● Turning proprietary sustainability data into a durable competitive advantage and new revenue

What You Will Do
1. Own Data & AI Platform Strategy
Define and execute Measurabl’s end-to-end data and AI platform strategy aligned with company priorities.
2. Architect and Scale a Modern Data Platform
Own the architecture of Measurabl’s data platform and ensure scalability, quality, and efficiency.
3. Lead Applied AI & Machine Learning
Deploy production-grade ML and AI systems including predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and generative
AI.
4. Build Measurabl’s Data Moat
Leverage proprietary datasets to create differentiated insights and products.
5. Drive Customer Impact and Revenue Growth
Translate AI capabilities into measurable customer value and new revenue streams.
6. Build and Lead a World-Class Organization
Scale a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
7. Drive Operational Excellence
Use AI to improve productivity and reduce cost-to-serve.
Overview:
The Director, Data Engineering, ML & AI is responsible for leading Measurabl’s data platform strategy, machine learning capabilities, and AI-powered product experiences. This is a transformational hands-on leadership role spanning data infrastructure, applied ML/AI, and sustainability-specific analytics. The Director or VP partners with the peer leaders, CPTO, and Product leadership to drive company-wide AI strategy, embed intelligence into the Measurabl platform, and position Measurabl as the definitive AI-powered sustainability intelligence platform in commercial real estate. This role leads a team of data engineers, software engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence, experimentation, and sustainability-driven impact.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role manages a team of data/SW engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists that will range in size and area of focus based on the needs of the organization. The Director may also manage one or more team leads or senior individual contributors. The team’s focus areas include data platform and infrastructure, applied machine learning, and ESG analytics.
