About the role

We're seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our growing People team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HR career, working within a fast-paced, remote-first organisation where no two days are the same.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services across the UK and Europe. You'll act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical HR advice, supporting employee relations matters, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR operations.

Working closely with the HR Manager and the Global Executive Vice President of People, you'll help deliver people initiatives that support business growth while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider global HR projects and continuously improve our people processes.

What you'll do

  • Support Daily HR Operations: Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager enquiries, managing the HR inbox and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the People function. Manage every stage of the employee lifecycle, including supporting managers with recruitment, preparing contractual documentation, coordinating onboarding, probation, employee changes and offboarding, ensuring excellent employee experience throughout.
  • Partner with Managers & Manage Employee Relations: Build trusted relationships with managers, providing practical guidance and coaching on day-to-day people matters. Independently manage employee relations cases including probation, sickness absence, wellbeing, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, escalating complex or high-risk matters where appropriate.
  • Support HR Strategy: Work closely with the HR Manager and Global Executive Vice President of People to support the delivery of people initiatives and HR strategies that align with business objectives, improve organisational effectiveness and support sustainable growth across the UK and Europe.
  • Ensure Legal and Policy Compliance: Maintain compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, HR best practice and internal policies. Review and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks and compliance frameworks, ensuring documentation remains accurate, up to date and legally compliant.
  • Payroll, Compensation & Benefits: Work closely with payroll and benefits providers to ensure accurate employee data and timely payroll processing. Administer employee benefits and incentive schemes throughout the employee lifecycle, support annual benefit renewals, salary benchmarking and pay review processes, and work alongside external brokers to ensure our benefits remain competitive while supporting the implementation of new initiatives.
  • HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, Rippling, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times. Produce HR reports, monitor key people metrics and support reporting requirements to inform business decisions.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and a positive workplace culture, helping to create an environment where employees can thrive.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate learning and development activities, maintain training records and support managers in identifying development opportunities that enhance employee capability and performance.
  • HR Projects & Continuous Improvement: Support HR projects that align with business objectives and improve employee experience. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce administrative inefficiencies and introduce automation that supports scalable business growth.
  • Support Talent Acquisition: Coordinate recruitment activities including interview scheduling, preparing offer documentation, conducting right-to-work checks, background screening and onboarding.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ proven HR generalist experience in a fast‑paced environment, with exposure to a range of people matters and employee relations cases.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • CIPD Qualified, Level 3 (preferred) or actively pursuing the qualification.
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and composure under pressure.
  • Confident using platforms like Rippling (or similar), with a keen eye for data integrity and HR reporting.
  • Clear, empathetic communicator with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating different time zones, cultures, and regulatory frameworks with a proactive, solutions-first approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other tools essential to modern HR operations


Additional Information

This is a remote position. Planned, in-office activities may be required on occasion (typically 2-4x per year).

 

You must live in the UK and be authorized to work in the UK without requirement of employment sponsorship/visa.
