About us
Nesto is a leading Canadian fintech company founded in Montreal in 2018. Our core mission is to offer a positive, empowering, and transparent property financing experience, simplified from start to finish. We initially started as a digital broker, aiming to use technology to bring transparency to the complex mortgage process. We quickly evolved to build Canada’s leading direct-to-consumer online mortgage lending platform, where our qualified mortgage experts are supported by advanced technology.
Since then, we have expanded our offering into a robust "mortgage ecosystem," extending our reach as a B2B partner for large financial institutions across Canada. Our first B2B product debuted in 2022 with IG Wealth Management, coinciding with our Series C funding round. A critical milestone occurred in 2024 when nesto acquired CMLS Group. This acquisition formed the Nesto Group (which houses nesto, CMLS, and its subsidiary brand, Intellifi), resulting in a significant increase in scale. We now have 1,250 employees across 12 offices nationwide and $73 billion CAD in residential and commercial mortgage assets under administration.
Why we are hiring
As our B2B partner ecosystem expands, we are rapidly scaling our Client Delivery teams to support this growth. The Product Enablement team serves as the critical bridge between our technology and the people who use it every day. To ensure our partners achieve maximum success with Nesto Cloud, we are looking for a third team member to join our newly formed team. Your mission will be to build the "knowledge engine" that drives user proficiency, reduces friction for new features, and ensures our partners reach full mastery of our platform.
Work location, time zone, and language requirements
We welcome applications from candidates located across Canada. This is a remote position, and core working hours are based on the Eastern Time Zone (EST). Additionally, we are looking for someone that is fully bilingual in both English and French, with the ability to draft technical content and lead business communications.
What success in this role looks like
You are the architect of our client facing educational ecosystem. Your success is measured by your ability to make our technology feel intuitive. This results in a world class self service knowledge base, high satisfaction scores on training, and a measurable decrease in "how-to" related support inquiries.
What you’ll be doing
- Content Architecture: Design and maintain a library of high impact materials (interactive user guides, how-to videos using Loom or Camtasia, e-learning modules, and strategic release notes).
- High Impact Training: Lead and deliver engaging live training sessions (virtual) for new client onboarding and continuous education on new features.
- Proactive Release Enablement: Fully integrate into the product development lifecycle. Partner with PMs and Engineers to master new features and publish all enablement content one week prior to launch.
- Persona Mastery: Develop a deep understanding of unique user workflows (like a mortgage advisor vs. an underwriter) and tailor enablement content to their specific needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively gather feedback from clients and analyze support trends to identify knowledge gaps and proactively refine our training engine.
Who we are looking for
- 3 or more years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or corporate training, specifically for a B2B SaaS product.
- Exceptional Communication: A real talent for "de-coding" complex technical logic into simple, user friendly language.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Professional-level fluency in both English and French, with the ability to draft technical content and lead business communications.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with modern documentation and training tools such as Zendesk Guide, Confluence, Loom, and Camtasia, or Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Articulate Rise 360.
- Self Starter Mentality: Highly organized and proactive. You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, agile environment.
- Audience Empathy: A strong ability to step into the user's shoes and design content that addresses their specific pain points.
You shouldn't apply if
- You prefer a passive role where you document requirements without being responsible for the actual educational outcome.
- You are not comfortable being the "on-camera" or live voice expert during client training sessions.
- You prefer working on internal support rather than high stakes, partner facing enablement.
Interview Process
- Recruiter Screen (30 min)
- Discovery Call with the hiring manager (30 min)
- Take-home Assignment followed by a Presentation and Q&A (45 min)
- Final Non-Technical Interview with two additional stakeholders (30 min)
- Reference checks and Offer
