Position Overview

We are building a cutting-edge Platform that will transform the way our customers identify, protect and govern their data. This will revolutionize how customers secure their data by placing identity at the core – providing unparalleled visibility and control.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and architecture and team leadership to help define and standardize how we build out our unified security platform.

We primarily build our offerings in Microsoft Azure, and candidates for this role should be experts in the various services and capabilities provided in the Azure ecosystem. Additionally, we’re looking for someone that can raise the bar on both our CI/CD maturity and operational posture.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Design, provision, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments supporting multiple discrete security products.
  • Architect and maintain modular infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates utilizing Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Implement cloud governance, cost optimization strategies, and Azure policies to maintain a lean and compliant cloud footprint.

CI/CD

  • Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines within GitHub Actions to automate building, testing, and deploying multi-product applications.
  • Streamline development workflows by integrating automated security scanning (SAST/DAST), dependency checking, and vulnerability assessments directly into the GitHub workflow.

Collaboration and Agile Operations

  • Partner closely with product development teams to translate complex engineering requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Leverage Jira to manage sprint workflows, track infrastructure tasks, document system architectures, and ensure seamless communication across cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and drive root-cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents, continually improving system resilience.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience: 2+ years of dedicated DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience, preferably within a SaaS or multi-product environment.
  • Cloud Platform: Proven expertise in Azure services (e.g. AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Entra ID, etc).
  • Infrastructure as Code: Advanced proficiency with Terraform, including writing custom modules and managing complex state files in a team environment.
  • CI/CD & Version Control: Deep understanding of GitHub, Git workflows, and building enterprise-grade GitHub Actions pipelines.
  • Monitoring: Deep expertise in a solution like Datadog or New Relic, along with alerting integrations like Incident.io or PagerDuty.
  • Agile Tooling: Strong familiarity with Jira for task tracking, sprint planning, and documenting operations.

Preferred

  • Security Mindset: Experience working in a security-first environment or security software company; familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • Containerization: Experience managing and orchestrating containers using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
