About Opendoor
At Opendoor our mission is to tilt the world in favor of homeowners and those who aim to become one. Homeownership matters. It's how people build wealth, stability, and community. It's how families put down roots, how neighborhoods strengthen, how the future gets built. We're building the modern system of homeownership giving people the freedom to buy and sell on their own terms. We’ve built an end-to-end online experience that has already helped thousands of people and we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager, Seller Engagement to run the day-to-day execution and optimization of Opendoor’s Seller lifecycle program across email, SMS, and push.
Lifecycle sets the broader engagement strategy. You’ll turn that strategy into programs in market — building audiences, journeys, campaigns, triggers, and experiments in Iterable; QAing what goes live; analyzing performance; and determining what to test next.
This is a highly hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can take a customer or business problem, translate it into a strong lifecycle execution plan, and independently drive it from idea through measurement and optimization.
AI is a baseline part of how we work and should be embedded throughout campaign development, QA, analysis, documentation, and experimentation.
Translate Lifecycle priorities into campaigns, journeys, audience logic, channel plans, and measurable customer experiences across email, SMS, and push.
Develop and manage a testing roadmap. Identify opportunities, form hypotheses, design experiments, and use the results to decide what to do next.
Testing should go beyond subject lines and creative. We want to understand who to contact, when, on which channel, with what message, and whether the intervention actually changed customer behavior.
Analyze campaign and funnel performance, spot patterns or anomalies, and turn data into clear recommendations.
You’ll partner with Analytics and Data Science when needed, but you should be comfortable investigating performance yourself and moving beyond opens and clicks to outcomes like assessments, offers, contracts, and reactivation.
Make sure the right customers enter the right journeys, suppressions work, triggers fire, personalization is accurate, links function, and customers aren’t receiving conflicting or excessive communication.
Strong attention to detail is critical. When something in the data or customer experience doesn’t look right, we expect you to notice and investigate.
Be deeply hands-on in Iterable, building and troubleshooting campaigns, journeys, audiences, templates, triggers, and experiments.
Use AI as part of your everyday workflow to increase execution and testing velocity, improve QA and analysis, automate repetitive work, and raise the overall quality of the program.
