About Pinnacle’s listed funds business

Our affiliate managers have 22 listed products across Australian and global equities, fixed income and private markets. The total assets in these listed products is in excess of $10bn, making Pinnacle the largest issuer of actively managed listed funds in Australia. The plan is to grow this listed fund range in Australia as well as select offshore markets.


About the role

As Pinnacle continues to expand its ETF and listed products offering, we are seeking an Capital Markets Analyst to support the new product development, exchange trading and service provider management for our listed products business.

This role will be responsible for overseeing key capital markets functions across Pinnacle's ETF range, including market making, capital markets operations, service provider management and support for new product development. As the number and complexity of listed products continue to grow, this role will play a critical part in ensuring operational resilience, regulatory compliance and the successful delivery of ETF-related capital markets activities.


The successful candidate will work closely with the Pinnacle Product, Distribution, Operations, Compliance teams as well as the “ecosystem” of external service providers crucial to the successful running of listed funds, including exchanges, market makers and iNAV providers. The role also provides the opportunity to contribute to new product approval and development initiatives and, over time, may support the establishment of in-house ETF manufacturing and trading capabilities.


This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with ETF, capital markets, trading, brokerage or product experience seeking to play a central role in the growth of Pinnacle's listed products business.


What you'll do


  • Oversee market making, capital markets operations and day to day service provider management across Pinnacle's ETF range.
  • Support the successful launch and growth of new ETFs through product development, capital markets implementation and exchange approval processes.
  • Monitor ETF trading activity, market quality and regulatory obligations to ensure effective governance and operational oversight.
  • Contribute to product development initiatives, including market making design, iNAV implementation, index construction and ETF structuring considerations.
  • Build strong relationships across Product, Distribution, Operations, Compliance and external service providers to support the growth of Pinnacle's listed products platform.

Qualifications


  • 3+ within investment management, ETFs, capital markets, trading, product management, brokerage or financial services.
  • Experience working with ETF issuers, market makers, exchanges, brokers or other participants within the ETF ecosystem is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of ETF market structure, market making, creation and redemption processes, trading operations and listed investment products.
  • Exposure to product development, product management or ETF launches is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and trading outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external parties.
  • High attention to detail and a strong risk and control mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong academics and tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics or a related discipline.
