About the role

Ritual’s Retail Sales Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving impactful revenue growth with the Wholesale Team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing key performance reporting, KPI tracking, and category management.  As a strategic partner to our internal team, the Sales Analyst will ensure Ritual’s products are set up for best in class omnichannel experience.  This position reports to the Senior Wholesale Sales Director and will work collaboratively with the respective Sales Directors to establish strategies and support team efficiencies. This is a key role that works collaboratively across teams to develop insights and strategies that drive meaningful impact. The position will additionally provide an opportunity to grow Wholesale account management skills. 


What you'll do

  • Develop and implement sales performance reporting analysis providing recommendations to optimize sales strategies for key wholesale accounts. 
  • Drive National Retail category performance reporting and insights to support revenue growth strategies in partnership with Wholesale teammates.  
  • Facilitate onboarding of new natural and specialty retail partners to expand Ritual’s distribution.
  • Provide excellent cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of wholesale initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze promotional programming and category opportunities - focused on KPIS. ROI, and HHP 
  • Lead account partner item setup, submissions, inventory/forecasting support, and additional programming support for National Accounts. 
  • Opportunity to develop partnerships with natural and specialty accounts.

What you'll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience is also valued.
  • Experience: 3+ years sales analysis experience - with focus on national retail (IE: Target, Walmart, Costco)
  • Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to collaborate with external partners and internal teams.
  • Initiative for Process Improvement: ability to self-start focusing on process improvements, efficiencies, and analysis to better the team functionality ultimately driving revenue growth. 
  • Proficiency in sales analytics: with retail reporting platforms, syndicated, and panel data (IE: SPINS, NIELSEN, NUMERATOR) as well as strong excel skills.

Compensation

  • Pay Range:  $67,000 - $85,000
  • Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/ benefits below.
