About the Role:

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations and recruiting efforts that align with the goals of the business. This role will assist on full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and work closely with employees to provide guidance, execution, and support across talent acquisition, employee experience, and HR processes. The Human Resources Specialist will play a key role in attracting and hiring talent while supporting a positive employee experience and helping to ensure seamless processes.


Primary Responsibilities:

      Support full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening, interview coordination, and offer process

      Coordinate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies

      Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience

      Manage new hire equipment shipping

      Support onboarding and offboarding administrative processes to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle

      Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs

      Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and compliance materials

      Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

      Assist with benefits administration and HR systems (e.g., Rippling) updates and reporting

      Identify opportunities to improve recruiting and HR processes and support implementation of solutions

      Support and assist other departments such as Finance, Legal, Quality Assurance etc as needed for special projects and collaboration activities


Position Requirements:

      A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required

      A minimum of 2 years of HR experience with recruiting experience

      Life Sciences, healthcare, or startup experience preferred

      Basic knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and HR best practices

      Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (Rippling experience preferred)

      Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders

      Effective written and verbal communication skills

      Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

      Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

      Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism



Compensation: 55,000 - 62,000 Annually, Bonus Eligible
